The rugby world cup occurs every four years, and sees teams from across the globe battling it out for the William Webb Ellis trophy.
20 nations try their hand at the Rugby World Cup, but only a fifth of this number have ever managed a victory.
Four countries have won the trophy since the contests’ debut in 1987, with South Africa winning four times, New Zealand three, Australia twice, and England once in 2003.
