Iraqi protestors attempt to storm Danish embassy

A wedding party in Iraq has ended in tragedy as at least 100 people have been killed, and another 150 people have been injured, following a fire outbreak.

Initial media reports suggest that the fire broke out in the Ninevah region of Iraq. Once considered the capitol of the Mesopotamian region, Ninevah is located near the Tigris River.

Initial reports about the fire suggest that fireworks may be to blame for the outbreak, according to Al Jazeera.

An initial Twitter report, translated from Arabic, suggest that the bride and groom are amongst the 100 victims that have been claimed in the fire.

However, these reports are, as of this writing, unconfirmed.

Additionally, other unconfirmed reports suggest that more than 1,000 people were at the Iraq wedding party when the fire broke out.

This report, as well, remains unconfirmed.
