A female flight attendant has been left scarred for life after a male passenger “punched her”.
Bruce Luke Machiavelo, 29, was flying from Miami to LaGuardia Airport in New York, US, when he launched into a violent tirade at a member of the American Airlines crew. He had made it known that he needed to get his medication at a time when he was meant to be seated.
And when informed that he couldn't, he ranted about having taken “planes down with panic attacks in the past”.

This saw him escorted off the plant, but as crew and officers tried to do so, he pushed and screamed at an American Airline's manager, and then punched her several times in the face before throwing her to the floor – she was later taken to hospital and now has permanent scarring on her face and head.
He then tried to bolt off the plane, pushing a gate agent to the floor – causing her to injure her hand. More officers turned up at the gate to arrest him and found passengers had actually done it for them, pinning the bloke to the ground.
Despite attempting to resist arrest, officers got him and took him into custody before sending him to hospital, after charging him with aggravated battery, battery, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence – he was later cleared at the hospital and booked into a local jail, NBC News claimed.
