The inner-circle of Russian President Vladimir Putin is now in panic mode, and is considering stopping using the body double of Vlad . . . because he's a “complete idiot”.
Earlier this week it was revealed that the double wheeled out to replace Putin during health issues or apparent death was a “complete idiot” and “incomparably stupider” than the real leader. The comments came from a Kremlin source on the Telegram channel General SVR, and the anonymous source is now back with more details about the double.
They claim that Nikolai Patrushev (the country's security minister and bloke thought to be pulling the strings of the double) is having second thoughts about wheeling the double out. They claimed: “Patrushev's circle is still looking for an acceptable 'work schedule' for the President’s double.

“There are different opinions about how often the 'President' should appear at events, hold meetings and open meetings.
“The Secretary of the Security Council himself and a number of his like-minded people believe that the frequent appearance of an understudy can lead to 'exposure' and this is an unnecessary risk. There is another opinion that in the event of a sudden change in the schedule and after the cancellation of the double’s participation in a number of events, unnecessary questions and suspicions will arise, and this is fraught with problems in interpreting what is happening.”
Rumours of the inability of the body double to do, well, anything, come from the same source of the claims stating that Putin had died of a heart attack last week and the country was now being run by a body double – and the source has now taken to giving regular updates every morning at the exact same time.

Despite the latest comments, there has been there has been no update given on the state of Putin's body, which is claimed to still be stuck inside his Valdai residence, and wild allegations of his apparent death have since surfaced.
The Kremlin has constantly denied that Putin has been suffering from health issues and is, or could be, dead – but the source on Telegram continues to claim otherwise. When rumours first surfaced, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov claimed that it was all just an “absurd information canard”.
He said: “This belongs to the category of absurd information hoaxes that a whole series of media discuss with enviable tenacity – this evokes nothing but a smile.”
