A former fugitive has revealed what it was like to be on the run for more than two years.
Seth Ferranti, a former college drug kingpin, was first placed on the Most Wanted list in the US in 1991. He faked his suicide to avoid arrest after a warrant was issued for him.
He was on the run for two years before he was captured. He served 21 years behind bars for Continual Criminal Enterprise.

Since his incarceration, he has gone on to become an activist who speaks out against drugs.
Discussing his time on the run, the 51-year-old told MailOnline: "First of all, you need money, it makes everything easier. I had loads of IDs, and I'd switch every day."
Ferranti claimed that inmates plan escapes “all the time” but their plans are usually just “dreams”. While those who attempt it usually don’t make it far due to panic.
Approximately 3% of all prisoners in the US escape during their sentences, according to the US Department of Justice. That comes to more than 2,000 every year.
Ferranti said: "You're so determined, then you can almost give up on getting vital things like money, shades, etcetera. When you first escape, paranoia definitely takes over. But you can get over that. When you're nervous, you've got to do all you can to cover that up. You gotta keep moving."
Ferranti's time on the run lasted two years before he was captured. He was stopped by police with a friend for drug possession, and cops realised something was amiss after his prints did not match his ID.
While on the run he spent the majority of his time in Hollywood. Previous reports claim he partied heavily but he stressed the importance of anonymity.
Ferranti said escape plots "almost always included ropes or something to help climb over the razor wire". If any plans are ever launched, he said prison officials keep unsuccessful escapes under wraps from other inmates.
