South China Morning Post reported that the homeowner, surnamed Tang, was sleeping with her child when loud snores woke her, but she initially brushed it off as noise from the neighbour's house.
She then noticed the snoring getting louder when she went to wash her child's milk bottle and decided to investigate further. Then she found Yang sleeping soundly on the floor in another room.
She alerted her family and police came and arrested the man, revealing that he is a repeat offender.
He was jailed for theft in 2022 and was released from prison in September, AsiaOne reported.
