A self-confessed vigilante murderer who killed more than 100 criminals turned up at his father's prison cell to carry out a chilling promise he'd made to his mother at her grave.
Pedrinho Matador stabbed his dad 22 times before ripping out his heart and taking a bite out of it before throwing it back on top of his body. Inspiring the crime series, Dexter, the feared serial killer shot to fame after revealing he was an anti-hero only targeting drug dealers, rapists and murderers.
The brutal slaying of his own father was no different but this time, Pedrinho was spurred by vengeance after his dad murdered and dismembered his mum with a machete. In an interview years later, he said: "I arranged a well-thought-out plan and I turned up at my father's cell.

"I had promised revenge on my mother's coffin." He reportedly stabbed his father 22 times before ripping out his heart and biting into it.
He said: "I just chewed it. I cut the tip of his heart off and chewed it, and I threw it on top of his body."
Pedrinho, whose full name is Pedro Rodrigues Filho, had a rough start in life when his skull was left misshapen after his father kicked his pregnant mother during a fight.
He was just 14 when he committed his first murder. The victim was his town’s vice-Mayor who had recently fired Pedrinho's father for allegedly stealing food from the school. His second murder was the guard who was the supposed real food thief.
He fled to the area of Mogi das Cruzes in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he killed a drug dealer. When he met a woman and fell in love, the pair lived together until she was killed by gang members.

Pedrinho was finally arrested in 1973 and put in a police car with two other criminals including a rapist. But when cops opened the car door, they discovered that he had killed the rapist.
He was thrown in jail but his killing spree didn't end there – he slaughtered 47 of his fellow inmates who he felt deserved retribution.

In a 1996 interview he said he had no regrets. Among his tattoos were images of daggers and the motto "I kill for pleasure".
In 2018, after serving 34 years behind bars, Pedrinho created a YouTube channel where he regaled fans with tales of his sordid criminal past warning young people against taking up a life of crime, mayhem and murder.
He was also active on TikTok, where he boasted 314,800 followers and used his online presence to speak out against acts of crime.
On social media, he went by the nickname Pedrinho Ex Matador (Ex Killer Petey) and claimed to have found Jesus.
March last year, Pedrinho died aged 68 after being knifed and shot while sitting on a chair outside a family member's home in Brazil.
The case was classified as aggravated murder by the Civil Police but no arrests were made.
