<\/p>\nAn eco-friendly range of beach and swimwear has been launched \u2013 in response to the nine million people who plan to spend the festive season with the sun on their skin.<\/p>\n
The unique collection has been designed solely from sustainable materials, and includes a one-piece bathing suit, a spandex two-piece top and shorts combo, and a long-sleeved unisex option.<\/p>\n
The clothing range, launched by easyJet Holidays, collaborated with fashion brand Burnt Soul, after research of 2,000 adults found 17% are determined to get some winter sun as the year closes out. <\/p>\n
Almost half of those polled (47%) like the idea of being in a warmer country during the season of festivitie, and 44% of those claim it's nice to switch things up once in a while \u2013 while nearly a third (31%) like the idea of catching a tan on Christmas day.<\/p>\n
The top European destinations for this time of year include Italy, the Canary Islands, Spain, and France. Meanwhile, the Caribbean, the USA, and Australia also feature as the most desirable farther flung places to explore this winter.<\/p>\n
It also emerged 19% consider a trip abroad to be cheaper than celebrating on their home turf, and 37% like the idea of wearing a Christmas jumper on a festive holiday abroad \u2013 but think it will be too hot to keep it on for long.<\/p>\n

Musical theatre and Dancing on Ice star, Amber Davies, who modelled the range for the launch, said: \u201cI\u2019ve loved working with easyJet holidays on this unique, first of its kind beachwear range.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt combines everything I look forward to about Christmas, with my love of the beach. I know that winter sun chasers are going to love this launch as much as I do \u2013 who wouldn\u2019t want a swimsuit with surfing reindeer?\u201d<\/p>\n
The research also found 52% would carry on their usual festivities if they were to go on holiday over the period. More than a third (35%) would listen to festive music, and 34% would continue to have a roast dinner \u2013 despite the warm climate. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, 19% would pack mince pies on their travels, and 18% wouldn\u2019t forget the Christmas crackers. Others would bring along mini Christmas trees, stockings, fairy lights, and board games \u2013 with the most popular choices being Monopoly, Scrabble, and Trivial Pursuit. <\/p>\n
Festive films and TV are also crucial, as 36% would still watch their favourites, if they were to spend Christmas in a hot country.<\/p>\n
Matt Callaghan, customer director at easyJet Holidays, said: \u201cWe know that more and more of our customers are heading on a Christmas getaway as it can provide better value than staying in the UK, but that they will miss the festivities back home. <\/p>\n
