The charges allege he &#8220;engaged in a four-year scheme to not pay at least $1.4m in self-assessed federal taxes he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>According to the BBC, the nine charges include failure to file and pay taxes, false tax return, and evasion of assessment. Hunter Biden was indicted in September on federal firearm charges in Delaware.<\/p>\n<p>The 53-year-old has already pleaded not guilty in the gun case. The indictment says his expenditure increases along with his income.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution says he spent more than $1.8 million in 2018. This includes cash withdrawals, around $383,000 to women and $151,000 in clothing.<\/p>\n<p>They say he had &#8220;sufficient funds available&#8221; to pay his taxes, but opted not to.
