Adrenaline junkies can now get their latest piece of fun thanks to a waterslide that ends in a shark tank<\/p>\n
A video posted on TikTok by the rollercoaster and thrill-seeker account The Coaster Scoop shows footage of an individual hurtling down a waterslide surrounded by sharks in the Caribbean islands of the Bahamas.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Anyone wishing to venture down the slide must do so on a rubber ring, with sharks hovering above their head as they whizz by.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n After hurtling down the slide, the clip shows the adrenaline-junkie spotting his first shark of the ride.\u00a0<\/p>\n The rider is then made to wait, as users can only carry on down the slide by using the momentum of the wave generated by the person in front of them.<\/p>\n Just as the individual’s ride is about to carry on, they pan a GoPro camera to show ‘another massive shark’ before they reach the end and emerge outdoors once again.<\/p>\n The video, which has over 14.7million views on the platform, had users panicked over the prospect of being on a water ride so close to the notoriously deadly animals.\u00a0<\/p>\n One user wrote: ‘Omg I’d have a panic attack my claustrophobia’.<\/p>\n A second posted: ‘I\u2019m breathing rapidly just watching. I literally can\u2019t. Anxiety and claustrophobia is too much’.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n A third joked: ‘All fun and games until the shark breaks the glass’.\u00a0<\/p>\n A fourth added: ‘I did this water slide. Yes, the sharks scared me’.\u00a0<\/p>\n The slide can be found in the Aquaventure Water Park at the ocean-themed Atlantis Paradise Island resort in Nassau.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The resort has five different hotels available to choose from as part of your stay, with The Cove, The Reef, The Royal, the Harbourside Resort and The Coral all available to choose from. The most exclusive of these options is The Cove, with amenities including valet parking, 24-hour room service and a sun deck with impressive ocean views, per travel website Kayak<\/p>\n The resort has five different hotels available to choose from as part of your stay, with The Cove, The Reef, The Royal, the Harbourside Resort and The Coral all available to choose from.\u00a0<\/p>\n The most exclusive of these options is The Cove, with amenities including\u00a0valet parking, 24-hour room service and a sun deck with impressive ocean views per travel website Kayak.<\/span><\/p>\n As well as on-site dining at the site’s 77 West restaurant, there are also adult-only pools and a beach club with live DJs.\u00a0<\/p>\n Guests are able to take advantage of joint resort facilities, which include 21 restaurants and 19 bars.\u00a0<\/p>\n Prices at The Cove average at \u00a3708 for a single night’s stay during the week, rising to a whopping average of \u00a31,708 if you want to book in to the hotel at a weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n To celebrate New Year’s Eve 2023, Maroon 5 will be playing live at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort on Saturday December 30, with tickets starting from $99.\u00a0<\/p>\n However, a stay from December 27 to January 2 for a room for two adults will set you back an enormous $7,774 (\u00a36,143) at The Royal, rising to $12,600 (\u00a39,957) at The Cove.\u00a0<\/p>\n However, you will be able to benefit from\u00a0600 luxury suites with French or full balconies, which are situated between two beaches with floor-to-ceiling ocean views.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Cove also has three-bedroom penthouse suites available, with one king and two queen-size beds in a deluxe setting that measures 4,830 square ft.\u00a0<\/p>\n This provides enough room for seven adults and one child, according to Atlantis’ official website.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
