Maserati has confirmed that it plans to launch the new GranTurismo in India by June 2024. The Italian carmaker will also introduce the all-electric Folgore variant by the end of next year.

The new GranTurismo is offered with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine that makes 483 BHP and 600 Nm in base trim. It allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and onto a top speed of 302 km/h.

The high-performance Trofeo version is powered by the same engine, albeit in a higher state of tune. It packs 550 BHP and 650 Nm, allowing the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. The Trofeo can reach a top speed of 320 km/h. Moreover, both variants get all-wheel drive as standard.

The all-electric Folgore variant features a tri-motor setup with an output of 751 BHP and 1,350 Nm. It is powered by a 92.5 kWh battery pack offering a range of up to 450 km. Maserati claims the EV can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and has a top speed of 325 km/h.

The new Maserati GranTurismo borrows design cues from the MC20 supercar. It has a familiar grille up front and the classic gills on the fenders. The 2-door coupe has a sporty yet elegant cabin with a large touchscreen in the centre, a 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.
