Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want to spend Christmas with their children in the UK alongside the King, but he is yet to invite them, according to a friend of the couple.

Harry and Meghan last spent Christmas at Sandringham, the King's Norfolk residence, in 2018, before Princess Lilibet, two, was born and when Prince Archie, four, was still a baby. The paper reported that a friend said that an invite has not yet been extended, though. The source reportedly said: “I can’t imagine the Sussexes would decline an invitation to spend time with His Majesty.

However, his request for accommodation on the royal estate was refused when he came home for a charity event in September.

It comes as an expert claims that a new royal book "won't inspire trust" and could make reconciliation harder for Harry and his father.
