This beautiful island is rarely talked about but is home to some of the most stunning medieval architecture in the world.

Korcula in Croatia boasts an old town that rivals Croatia’s much more famous Dubrovnik, with incredible views across the Dalmatian coast.

The old town is home to medieval architecture, similar to Croatia’s other more pricey destinations like Hvar. But in Korcula, prices are much more inexpensive, allowing visitors to sample classic Meditteranean food at its finest.

While offering a relaxing atmosphere, there are also plenty of bars for those who want to spend the evening dancing away.

The island is also home to the Kočje Nature Park which offers moss-covered rock formations that date back to the Stone Age, along with prehistoric caves at Vela Spila.
