Wuling, a Chinese car brand owned by SAIC (also owns MG Motors) has introduced a new mini EV cabriolet at $14,000.

Called the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV Cabrio, the small 2-door convertible has a wheelbase of just 2,009 mm and rides on 12-inch wheels. The all-electric convertible misses out on an AC system, trunk lid and even an onboard DC fast charger.

The small convertible is powered by a single electric motor on the rear axle and is paired with a 26.5 kWh battery pack. The electric powertrain produces 40 BHP and 108 Nm, helping it achieve a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h). The EV convertible comes with 174 miles (280 km) of max range.

The standard Wuling Hongguang 2-door EV is a popular car in China, retailing at an even lower price tag of $9,400.
