{"id":120281,"date":"2023-10-22T16:11:03","date_gmt":"2023-10-22T16:11:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leviolonrouge.com\/?p=120281"},"modified":"2023-10-22T16:11:03","modified_gmt":"2023-10-22T16:11:03","slug":"hamas-terrorists-killing-their-own-people-with-hundreds-of-rockets-backfiring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leviolonrouge.com\/world-news\/hamas-terrorists-killing-their-own-people-with-hundreds-of-rockets-backfiring\/","title":{"rendered":"Hamas terrorists killing their own people with hundreds of rockets backfiring"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Hamas launches rocket near Tel Aviv<\/h3>\n<p>An Israeli military spokesman has said that a stream of rocket misfires by Hamas and Islamic Jihad have killed hundreds throughout Gaza since the war between Israel and Hamas began earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Daniel Hagari said on Saturday: \u201cThey are killing their own people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hagari said that one-fifth of rockets fired by Hamas and Islamic Jihad have missed intended targets and killed civilians in Gaza.<\/p>\n<p>That number amounts to more than 550 rockets misfired, he said.<\/p>\n<p>This comes roughly four days after the al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City was struck by a misfired rocket on Tuesday, leaving hundreds dead.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/78\/590x\/secondary\/hamas-5026672.jpg?r=1697990079067\"><\/p>\n<p>Hamas immediately claimed the hospital was attacked by an Israeli airstrike, but Israel has provided evidence that it was hit by an errant missile launched by terrorists in Gaza.<\/p>\n<p>A video that has gone viral on social media appears to show the missile striking a nearby parking lot to the hospital, leading to many conflicting claims of who was responsible, where the missile struck, and how many people died.<\/p>\n<p>After an investigation, Israel said the rocket was misfired by Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a foreign terrorist organization backed by Iran.<\/p>\n<p>IDF officials said: \u201cAn analysis of IDF operational systems indicates that a barrage of rockets was fired by terrorists in Gaza, passing in close proximity to the al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza at the time it was hit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIntelligence from multiple sources we have in our hands indicates that Islamic Jihad is responsible for the failed rocket launch which hit the hospital in Gaza.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/78\/590x\/secondary\/gaza-5026673.jpg?r=1697990079113\"><\/p>\n<p>During his trip to Israel on Wednesday, President Biden confirmed that the Pentagon supported Israel\u2019s assertion that the rocket originated in Gaza.<\/p>\n<p>According to Joe Truzman, a research analyst for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies\u2019 Long War Journal, the string of misfires is a result of \u201cHamas and other groups like Islamic Jihad\u201d having to \u201cmake do with the material they have,\u201d he told Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>Truzman added: \u201cIran is the chief supporter of several Palestinian armed groups, including other bad actors across the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe regime in Iran funds, arms, and supports its network of proxies and clients.
