<\/p>\nBouts of torrential rain and thunderstorms are expected to follow the end of Storm Babet, which has flooded towns and killed three so far.<\/p>\n
Those hoping for calmer spells of weather will be devastated to see more storms are to follow an already brutal weekend of woeful weather. <\/p>\n
Though Storm Babet is thankfully set to recede by the end of this weekend, advanced weather modelling maps from WX Charts show a washout on both Monday and Tuesday. <\/p>\n

The wet weather front appears to move up the UK, with central England expected to get the worst of it. The area of red of map for Monday shows rain falling at a rate of 10mm per hour. <\/p>\n
By Tuesday it will have reached Scotland – where red and amber weather warnings have been issued in recent days – but luckily by then the downpours won't be so heavy. <\/p>\n

Netweather forecaster Ian Simpson also reckons more thundery showers are on the way. He writes: "Through early next week, we will need to closely watch another area of rain moving in from the south-west. It will mainly affect Northern Ireland and the south of England on Monday, in regions that have not so far been strongly affected by flooding, but through Tuesday and Wednesday, it will push through the Midlands and into northern England and Scotland.<\/p>\n
"Winds will be south-easterly as the rain reaches Scotland, most likely during Tuesday, which may result in further heavy, persistent rainfall for eastern Scotland.<\/p>\n

"The east of Scotland will need to be prepared for some exacerbation of the flood risk through Tuesday. Parts of the Midlands and northern England will also be susceptible to further flooding. <\/p>\n
"Brighter weather with some showers, these heavy and thundery near the south coast, will spread into southern areas during Tuesday and Wednesday." From there, it seems some temperatures of a "seasonal average" will be on the cards.<\/p>\n
