{"id":119526,"date":"2023-10-02T23:56:58","date_gmt":"2023-10-02T23:56:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leviolonrouge.com\/?p=119526"},"modified":"2023-10-02T23:56:58","modified_gmt":"2023-10-02T23:56:58","slug":"i-70-crash-pena-boulevard-exit-closed-for-diesel-fuel-spill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leviolonrouge.com\/world-news\/i-70-crash-pena-boulevard-exit-closed-for-diesel-fuel-spill\/","title":{"rendered":"I-70 crash: Pe\u00f1a Boulevard exit closed for diesel fuel spill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The northbound ramp to Pe\u00f1a Boulevard on eastbound Interstate 70 has reopened after a two-vehicle crash shut down the exit early Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>At 5:39 a.m., the Aurora Police Department posted on X, the social media platform previously known as Twitter, that officers were on the scene of the crash and the ramp was closed.<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics took both drivers to local hospitals with serious injuries, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The crash caused a diesel fuel spill, closing the Pe\u00f1a Boulevard exit for several hours for clean up, Aurora police said in an update.<\/p>\n<p>The cleaning crew arrived at 8 a.m., more than two hours after the crash, and by 8:54 a.m. Pe\u00f1a Boulevard had reopened.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Officers remain in the area as they wait on a tow truck for one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
