The death of a 65-year-old man in custody at a Colorado state prison was caused by strangulation and\/or blunt force injuries to the head, according to the Lincoln County Coroner\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Paul Hack was pronounced dead at 5:09 p.m. on Aug. 17 at the Limon Correctional Facility, a state prison two miles south of Limon with a capacity for 930 inmates.<\/p>\n
Lincoln County Coroner Andy Lorensen ruled Hack\u2019s death a homicide on Aug. 30 and released the cause of death on Monday.<\/p>\n
The Colorado Department of Corrections has released few details about Hack\u2019s death, citing an ongoing investigation by the department\u2019s Inspector General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
In an email Tuesday, department spokesperson Alondra Gonzalez wrote the Inspector General\u2019s office is still investigating and that she could not provide further information because of the ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n
