King Charles has been criticised for doing a \u201cBiggles\u201d by flying in a private plane between two French cities.<\/p>\n
The monarch and Camilla flew the short 360-mile trip a day after preaching about the "existential threat" of global warming to the Paris Senate. <\/p>\n
The Paris to Bordeaux hop has been ditched by Air France after the French Government banned internal flights of less than two hours 30 minutes for ecological reasons.<\/p>\n

Travellers can make the journey in just over two hours on a direct high-speed train, just 45 minutes longer than flying. French Green MP Sandra Regol said it was \u201cvery disappointing\u201d. Green news outlet Reporterre said: "The ecological results of Charles III\u2019s trip to France are not rosy."<\/p>\n

A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said the decision was "made on the advice of the French authorities".<\/p>\n
Earlier this week, the King said Britain and France needed to "strive together to protect the world from our most existential challenge of all \u2013 that of global warming". A day earlier Prime Minister Rishi \u201cBiggles\u201d Sunak, who loves flying in his government chopper, scaled back on green pledges to achieve net zero.<\/p>\n
It was on this recent trip to France where some Royal Family fans picked up on the bigger-than-usual fingers of their beloved monarch. King Charles' so-called "sausage hands" had swollen to astronomical proportions, and a doctor has explained why. <\/p>\n

Dr Chun Tang said the King could be suffering from "inflammation" that may lead to a slate of medical worries.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Dr Tang said: "Often puffy fingers are a symptom of water retention which can be caused by numerous health conditions. This condition arises due to inflammation and can be a result of arthritis, multiple bacterial infections or even TB.<\/p>\n
"Other possibilities include high salt levels, allergic reactions, medicinal side effects, injury and autoimmune disease."<\/p>\n
