Testing carried out on the two "Mexican aliens" presented recently show they could be real extra-terrestrials, with scientific tests pointing toward alien lifeforms.

Presented to Mexico's congress just a few weeks ago by a self-proclaimed ufologist, the two feet tall skeletons could be the real deal. X-rays carried out by doctors show the two small bodies could indeed be from out of this world.

A Mexico City laboratory has carried out a number of CT scans on the bodies, and José de Jesús Zalce Benitez, director of Health Sciences Research Institute, says they could be real.

Neither body showed signs of third-party manipulation or assembly, meaning the two-foot creatures could definitely be an alien life form. Jaime Maussan, who presented the pair to politicians, said they were "non-human beings that are not part of our terrestrial evolution".

Earlier suggestions claimed the bodies were put together with animal and human bones, but this was not the case as new research has found. Benitez said: "They] belong to a single skeleton that has not been joined to other pieces."

Maussan's appearance in congress stunned some of the sitting parliamentarians, with the alien life forms shown at the time. His discovery, he says, has the potential to "rewrite history", The Telegraph reported.

He told Congress: "Whether they are aliens or not, we don't know, but they were intelligent and they lived with us. They should rewrite history." Scientists are yet to suggest the aliens are from another planet, despite their classic, big-headed look.
