It comes after the European Parliament accused Lukashenko of being complicit Putin\u2019s war crimes in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
In a resolution adopted by lawmakers in Strasbourg on Wednesday, the International Criminal Court is being urged to issue a warrant for Lukashenko\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n
The Belarusian President, it claims, enabled “Russia\u2019s unjustified war of aggression” and therefore carries direct responsibility” for the destruction and damage caused to Ukraine.<\/p>\n
In a separate charge, it also accuses Belarus of playing a role in the forcible deportation of Ukrainian children from territories temporarily occupied by Russian troops.<\/p>\n
