@cici.inthesky has shared a post in which she states the big mistake that passengers make when it comes to packing their hand luggage.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s noticed that these days, in the era of having to pay for luggage, passengers are now really trying to cram in everything but the kitchen sink into their hand luggage. Many of them will do anything to avoid having to put their luggage in the hold.<\/p>\n

The art of packing simply requires a bit of common sense. Make sure you can pick it up before you leave the house.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe number one thing, especially for tiny women, is to make sure you can pick that bag up and put it in the overhead bin. If I start noticing that it\u2019s getting too heavy and I can\u2019t pick it up, then I need to make some adjustments,” said Cici.<\/p>\n

While that makes perfect sense, people still want to pack as much as possible and more often than not, they haven\u2019t thought about the consequences when it comes to lifting it up into the bin, once on the plane.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause of our job, we\u2019re not supposed to pick up people\u2019s bags. If we do that, it puts strain on our body. But a lot of people don\u2019t realise that\u201d, she said.<\/p>\n

Cici also mentions in a separate video that she\u2019s concerned about the number of broken wheels she sees on luggage in the airports she travels through.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last thing you want to happen is for those wheels to break on your luggage then you have to carry that big thing around\u201d.<\/p>\n

Having travelled as extensively as she has, she is full of great advice.<\/p>\n

She says: \u201cDon\u2019t slam your luggage down on the ground. That impact over time, will wear them down\u201d.<\/p>\n

She also went on to say, \u201cDo a little maintenance\u201d. We see Cici unscrewing her wheel and we watch her pull out some rather offensive-looking dust and hair. This will undoubtedly slow down your wheels.<\/p>\n
