A Christian charity has been forced to apologise after sharing a photo of face masks covered in penises.
Esteem Acet UK said it "loved" the kinky coverings and called them "back to school gifts" in an embarrassing gaffe.
The sex education provider tweeted : "We love our amazing Esteem network! Received a parcel this week of back to school gifts for our team, from a particularly creative Esteem member who's been busy crafting! Thank you!"
Radio Host Richie Allen shared the image and said: "Esteem claims to: 'deliver relationships and sex education training, equipping youth workers, teachers & parents to talk to young people about relationships & sex.'
"Here's a Tweet from them this AM, which they deleted, not before I grabbed it. Stay the f**k away from children!!"
Other users asked: "What the hell is this?"
The charity responded: "Sorry, our mistake calling them back to school gifts. These were a gift to the team from a friendly crafter but we will NOT wear them in schools. Apologies for any offence caused."
Its website says: "acet UK is a Christian charity with a mission to equip and inspire individuals, schools, churches and organisations, in the UK and internationally, to transform culture by promoting healthy self-esteem, positive relationships and good sexual health.
"Young people are growing up in a world where the meaning of sex is often diluted, porn is accessible at a click of a button, and where there can be an underlying message that relationships don’t really have to be good as long as they look good.
"acet UK’s Esteem team now equip youth and schools workers, teachers and health professionals with the knowledge, skills, resources, and confidence to educate young people across the UK about relationships and sex.
"We also deliver the programme directly to young people ourselves, with best practice models in Southwark and Cheshire, and are increasingly working with parents to support them in engaging with their children on these topics."
