Prince Harry a security risk as Taliban comments make coronation dangerous

Comments made in Prince Harry's autobiography Spare could make the coronation "dangerous", a royal expert has warned.

In his bombshell book, the Duke of Sussex claimed to have taken the lives of 25 members of Taliban forces.

Harry's controversial revelation which has already been widely slammed, could prove troublesome for his potential appearance at King Charles' coronation.

Taliban officials took the time to respond to the Duke of Sussex's claims, and now one expert believes the Prince will mark a "security risk" for the King of England's coronation this May, Express reported.

Expert Lizzie Cundy believes the Sussex duo should "stay away" from the event, saying: "Number one, it's a security risk with him saying about the Taliban.

"He's not only put himself in danger but he's put his family as well as the nation [in danger]. So personally for that reason I don't think they should go.

"I also think it would be very awkward. I think they will be booed and for their own sake – the country has seen them for what they are, America, over the pond has seen them for what they are – stay away."

Daily Star previously reported that members of the Taliban had in fact replied to Prince Harry's claims, calling the former military man a "big mouth loser".

Even if Harry makes no appearance at the coronation, expert Cundy believes an invitation to the Sussexes shows Charles is "the boss".

She said: "King Charles is showing he has really got the crown jewels and he is showing he's in charge and the boss.

"I'm so pleased he has taken control, I know he doesn't like confrontation. I know he's weak at times but now he's showing his real strength."

It remains to be seen whether the Sussex duo will appear at the coronation, but royal expert Kinsey Schofield believes an appearance from the duo would be "humiliating".
