Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's frosty relationship with other members of the Royal Family has led the King to evict them from their UK base at Frogmore Cottage and hand the keys to Prince Andrew, it's been reported.

It has been claimed that Harry and Meghan were arranging for the belongings they still have at the Windsor home to be sent to their house in California.

Reports suggest Harry's tell-all memoir Spare was the last straw for King Charles, who made the big call as there was no improvement between Sussex-Royal Family relations.

However, while it is claimed Prince Andrew has been offered the house, he is “resisting”, the source told The Sun.

“Andrew is resisting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week. But it shows Harry and Meghan are powerless to stop the eviction," they said.

The late Queen gifted Frogmore Cottage to Harry and Meghan following their wedding back in 2018.

Frogmore was converted into one home in 2019, having previously been five separate properties for staff working on the Windsor Estate.

The whole renovation cost the Sovereign Grant £2.4million and the property is thought to have five bedrooms, a kitchen, a sitting room and a nursery first designed for Archie.

Charles' decision to evict the Sussexes also throws into further doubt whether they will be given an invite to his coronation in May.

After Harry revealed intimate details in Spare of his crumbling relationship with his father and brother, leading to retreat from official royal duties, he is claimed to be "demanding a summit" to discuss ongoing issues ahead of any coronation gathering.

But an apology to Harry does not appear to be on the cards from Charles or William.

A source, said to be a family friend, told The Mail: "I hear that William has no intention whatsoever of apologising and remains incandescent, especially around the way his wife, the Princess of Wales, has been treated."
