Elon Musk mocks Putin’s KGB enforcers after getting pally with tyrant

The world’s richest man Elon Musk appeared to mock Russia’s former security services just days after being accused of being mates with tyrant Vladimir Putin.

Tesla chief Musk said: “Did you hear about the dyslexic KBG agent – it’s pot secret!”

The KGB was the security service for the failed Soviet Union which has largely been succeeded by today’s FSB, which Putin used to be the chief of.

It is a feared and globally infamous operation formed in 1995 and is primarily concerned with internal and border security, as well as intelligence and counterintelligence.

The KGB was known as a terrifying outfit that would monitor the public and enforce breaches of the Soviet Union's laws.

Musk's slightly unusual joke comes after claims that Musk may have been communicating with Putin over potential routes to end the conflict in Ukraine.

He was forced to deny claims that he had spoken with the Russian dictator directly before he posted a bullet-pointed plan that he thought could bring an end to the violence.

Musk had been asked whether the report claiming contact, written by geopolitics writer Ian Bremmer, was true to which Musk said: “No, it is not".

The SpaceX head added: "I have spoken to Putin only once and that was about 18 months ago. The subject matter was space.”

Bremmer, however, stuck to his guns claiming: “Elon Musk told me he had spoken with Putin and the Kremlin directly about Ukraine. He also told me what the Kremlin’s red lines were."

Bremmer added he made his claims in his 24-year-old newsletter, “honestly without fear or favour and this week’s update was no different.”

He added: “I’ve long admired Musk as a unique and world-changing entrepreneur, which I've said publicly. He's not a geopolitics expert.”

As ever with Musk, his Twitter post caused quite a stir, with rock band Nirvana adding a joke of their own.

The Smells Like Teen Spirit artists said: “Did you hear about the restaurant on the moon? Good food, but no atmosphere!”
