A dog-lover has celebrated the circle of life by throwing her pregnant golden retriever a maternity photoshoot.
Animal fosterer and teacher Caitie Evers went viral after her adorable snaps, taken by professional photographer Shauna Kiely, captured the hearts of the internet.
The woman, from Texas, was treating her one-year-old dog, Lily-Mae – and by the looks of the pictures, the pooch loved being pampered.
Lily-Mae, a former stray who has now found a loving home with Evers, gave brith just three days after the shoot, The Mirror reported.
She is now the proud mama of eight tiny puppies, who have also been in photographed.
The tongue-in-cheek maternity shoot delighted social meda users as Lily-Mae and Caitie posed for the cameras.
She was wearing a flowery crown and Caitie joined her in some pictures with a fake ultrasound.
In another shot she is wearing a long floaty skirt that blew in the wind in stereotypical fashion.

The aim of the shoot was to raise awareness about animal welfare, The Metro said.
Caitie told the outlet: "Lily-Mae got pregnant on the streets and it’s really lucky that we found her when we did. If she’d have given birth without a proper home the pups would not have survived.
"They wouldn’t be able to handle the cold and probably wouldn’t survive disease.
"It was my own idea to do the shoot, I’ve always wanted to do one because I thought it’d be a fun thing to do. My friend is a photographer so we headed up to our local park and just played about with some shots."
All of Lily-Mae’s puppies will be adopted when they reach the right age.
Despite working full-time, Ciatie has helped rescue 195 dogs in her area and each has gone on to find a forever home.
